A man has been charged over possession of child abuse material at Koorawatha, about 40km north of Young.

Officers attached to The Hume Police District attended a residential address in Koorawatha about 1.40pm on Monday, November 4.
Officers located and seized a mobile phone that was in the possession of a 33-year-old man.
Child abuse material was allegedly located following an examination of the man's phone.
A search warrant was executed at the premises shortly after, with officers locating and seizing a computer, mobile phones and several electronic storage devices.
The 33-year-old man was taken to Young Police Station, where he was later charged with possess child abuse material.
He was refused bail by police and appeared at Wagga Wagga Local Court on Tuesday, November 5.
Following on from his appearance at Wagga Wagga Local Court, the man has been refused bail to reappear before Young Local Court on December 3 this year.
