RESTRICTIONS SEND A MESSAGE
It's good that our water consumption is less than this time last year but if you just rely on people to have a social conscience and not water lawns the council should drive around town and see green lawns and lush gardens.

Water restrictions send the message that we are a responsible community and not just interested in commerce above all.

REST EASY
Out here in the central west there's great big skies and dry red dirt with Kurrajongs, Iron Barks and native pines.
Tonight it's a' raining and Lord it's about time.
Everyone's been worrying and watching and waiting and talking in the street and quietly praying the birds, the lizards, the kangaroos, the farmers, the dogs, the mayor of the town and the old cockatoos.
Tonight we can rest a bit easy and let out a big sigh, now that the water's finally comin' down from on high.

SO DISAPPOINTED
The following letter was written to the organisers of the Jimmy Barnes concert in Tullamore
Dear organizers,
I am letting you know how disappointed we all are . As Josh Maynard won a competition to perform at Tullamore with Jimmy Barnes and was cancelled. He drove all that way to be told he wasn't going on .. He is an incredible young talent from Cowra and he was so looking forward to performing.
This is so wrong how can this happen. This young artist needs to be compensated for his time and effort and he is so upset about what just happened.
A lot of people from his area where looking forward to see him perform. Not only have you disappointed Josh but the Cowra community.
Very heart broken
