In his annual Chairman's report, Mr Brown said the CCC continued its goal of providing assistance to Cowra Shire residents in need of financial support due to health related needs during the past year.
"It is very pleasing to note that since the inception of CCC, 260 Cowra families have been assisted with funds totaling upwards of $300,000," he said.
"I can also report that funds raised by CCC from management of the Cowra Community Markets, money boxes, raffles and donations have totaled approximately $500,000.
"I sincerely acknowledge the generous financial support of the Cowra community, including the many private donors, businesses and organisations."
To continue the success of the CCC, Mr Brown stressed the need for more volunteers, in particular the urgent need to form a Cowra Community Markets Management Committee.
"For CCC to move forward to continue to provide a valuable community service, we are in need of willing and able volunteers with administrative and/or management skills," he said.
"The positive acceptance of CCC in the Cowra community is pleasing as we continue our mission in caring for those in need in the coming year."
The Cowra Community Chest AGM will be held at the Cowra Bowling Club on November 12 at 6.30pm, followed by their general meeting and supper.
Annual membership fees are now due are $10, payable by November 12.
