Entries into different sections and displays by local businesses and community groups resulted were up on previous years and as a result, stalls had to spill outside the pavilion.
The winners of the Best Pavilion Display this year went to the Cowra Art Group.
Matt Bohman from the Cowra Show Society said the ladies from the group spent the day demonstrating and chatting to people about all things wool.
"They just sat there the whole day spinning wool, talking to people about wool, talking to people about what they spin and allowing people to observe, touch, feel what they were doing," he said.
"We're really impressed with the effort that went into it this year."
Along with stalls, the pavilion played host to the Junior Showgirl, Showboy and Tiny Tots competitions and a reptile show.
