Matt Bohman from the Cowra Show Society said there was plenty of positive feedback from this year's annual event.
"The newer things that we brought in like the reptile pit and the wrestling have been talked about and talked about," he said.
"The rodeo was a success, the demolition derby - if you flip a car upside down, you're going to get talked about, that's exciting."
Mr Bohman said entries into the various Pavilion sections and agricultural competitions exceeded expectations.
"The cattle entries were up this year, I think we even ended up with a few more sheep than was first anticipated for our sheep section," he said.
"We actually filled the pavilion out... The horse section was successful, just all across the board, it's just been phenomenal to see and the effort that the volunteers and everyone else has put in has just been great to see the response."
While exact numbers were still being crunched on Monday afternoon, Mr Bohman said attendance on Saturday was up on last year's Show.
"Over the two days, we felt attendance was above what it was last year," he said.
"Saturday's gate takings were way up from last year's... the Rodeo was down just a little bit but overall the Rodeo was well attended again."
He said each of the rides, attractions and events attracted large crowds.
"When you went to some of the events, there were always good crowds, there were lines almost all the time waiting for rides," he said.

"They counted one of the sessions at the wrestling and they counted over 120 people sitting there watching it so we are really impressed with that."
Mr Bohman said the Show simply would not run without the support of the Cowra community.
"We can't do the Show unless they come and support it and we were well supported by attendance this year and we appreciate that," he said.
"We're always open to any ideas... let us know and we will take a look at it."
