Ms Patterson was crowned on Saturday night at the Cowra Show's cocktail party in the Cowra Showground Pavilion.
Ms Patterson, along with fellow entrant Ali Andrews, were interviewed in front of the crowd before the three judges, Cowra Showground Trust President Ian Donges, former Boorowa Showgirl Rebecca Dwyer and Hannah Powe from The Land, deliberated to make their decision.
The 24-year-old from Brittas, Canowindra said she was thankful for the support of her friends and family.
"Thank you for everyone for coming tonight, it's great to have support," she said.
"Thank you to Ali for entering the competition with me, it's really great to see the support from our friends and family."
Ms Patterson currently works as a solicitor for Campbell Paton and Taylor, Orange, with the ambition to become a dispute resolution practitioner.
She annually volunteers as the ring secretary of the Cowra Poll Dorset Championships and Cowra Lamb Show.
Previously she has waitressed at many Cowra Showgirl cocktail parties and completed volunteer work with Red Shield Appeal, Legacy and Royal Flying Doctor.
This year's Rural Achievers were also crowned, with Lillee Felton named the Intermediate winner and senior Rural Achiever going to Lily Wright.
