The Rotary Men's Health Education Rural Van (MHERV) is returning for two days this week to check local men's blood pressure, blood-sugar levels, body mass, cholesterol and overall health and well-being.
Last year the MHERV tested 64 men and more than half of those were advised to see a GP as soon as possible as their health tests identified an issue that needed treatment and without attention could soon have developed into a life-threatening concern.

A further two of the men tested were advised to seek medical attention immediately as they were at serious risk.
MHERV began in 2008 as a borrowed caravan, in 2013 it was decided to commission a strong, purpose-built caravan which has two consulting rooms and is completely confidential.
It is staffed by a full-time registered nurse and the health checks offered a free to men who "have not got around to having their health checked".
Organised by the Rotary Club of Cowra, MHERV is a community service sponsored by the NSW Government, Mazda Dealerships and the Royal Freemasons.
The Cowra Services Club and Cowra Bowling Club have come on board to help Cowra Rotary sponsor this visit.
Men can just turn up at the MHERV at the Saleyards (Friday, October 18) or the Cowra Show (Saturday, October 19) and have their health checked.
