Young woodchoopers who want to showcase their skills are being encouraged to enter the competition at this year's Cowra Show.

Benedict Industries Woodchop Steward Kellie Launders said this will be the first time the Cowra Show has run a boys section.
"We have entries in already," she said.

Entry into the competition is $15 per event.
First prize for the 275mm Underhand Boys Chop is $50, second prize is $30 and third prize is $20.

- 275mm Benedict Industries 2 Board Tree
- 250mm Lachlan Valley Tree Services Standing Block Championship
- 275mm Nelligans Sand & Gravel Underhand Handicap
- 250mm/275mm Enhanced Air 2 Man Relay
