Cowra CWA Branch members have had a busy few weeks with catering for the Women Riders World Relay at the end of August.

A friendly crowd of motorbike riders travelling from Perth to places east - a thank you to all the helpers and for the assistance of Driver Reviver for the use of their facilities.

Then our CWA Musical Afternoon during CWA Awareness Week.

Again thanks to those attending, helping and especially to the performers from the Cowra Singers, Cowra Vocal Ensemble and great soloists, young and a little older.

Afternoon tea followed.

We are grateful to St Raphael's for allowing us to hold the function in their church.

Another thank you to the Department of Primary Industries Cowra for inviting us to provide morning tea for their Open Day.

It was also good to hear about the interesting work being done by the staff.

The September meeting started with the judging of the Land Cookery items made by members and enjoyed for morning tea. Thank you Jacqueline Perry for your assistance with judging.

Group Land Cookery Day will be at the December 9 Group Meeting in Boorowa.

The Cowra Branch will meet in the Nguluway (Library) room, 10am for 11am on Thursday, October 17, 2019 and members are encouraged to bring a light lunch to share before the Annual Meeting, starting at 1pm.

New members and visitors are always welcome at our meetings.
