The sub-Branch conducted a sunset ceremony at the Brisbane Street Cenotaph to reflect upon the sacrifice made by Vietnam veterans in battles such as Long Tan and the Tet Offensive.
After a welcome by Vietnam Veterans President, Tom Humphries, the branch laid a wreath in honour of member Harvey Tarrant, who passed away on August 26, 2018.
They also paid tribute to known Vietnam Veterans who have died in the past 12 months - Ken Hussell, John Campbell, John Pascoe and Bob Bunt.
A wreath laying by member units who served in Vietnam then took place before a wreath laying by members of recent conflicts such as Iraq and Afghanistan.
Australian involvement in the Vietnam War started in 1962 until 1975.
