More than $12,000 was injected back into the Cowra community in this year's round of grants, which are given out on a yearly basis.
Representatives from the different groups were invited along to a special morning tea to celebrate the occasion, joined by Cowra Services Club Manager, Lloyd Garratt and board member Keith Lunn.
The recipients are:
- Out of School Hours (OOSH)
- The Cowra branch of the Country Education Foundation
- The Central West branch of the Australian Federation of Graduate Women
- Cowra Legacy branch
- PCYC Cowra and
- the Cowra Cancer Action Group.
Sally Delaney, a representative of both the Country Education Foundation and the Australian Federation of Graduate Women, said it was a generous contribution.
"We know how difficult is is to fundraise, so it's absolutely marvellous," she said.
