Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator, Vanessa Warren, said both the staff and residents enjoyed having the change of pace.
"It is always fun to have a change of environment for our residents with everyone from our CEO Scott Kable, Care Manager Nicki Lawrence and staff across all departments wearing their pyjamas," she said.
"This theme day also enables our residents and staff to support such a worthy charity that supports children in foster care in Australia.
Ms Warren said Care Manager, Nicki Lawrence, was named the winner of the staff participation prize as judged by the residents.
The Pyjama Foundation provides children in foster care the opportunity to change the direction of their lives with learning, life skills and confidence.
Funds raised for the Pyjama Foundation go to help raise awareness for children in foster care and the foundation's Love of Learning Program.
