Cowra Motorcycle Racing Club riders Maurice Brown and James Pearson will be competing at the U16 250cc Speedway World Championships in Holstebro, Denmark this weekend.

Sixteen riders compete in each semi with the top eight from each Semi-Final to then contest the World Title in the final on July 21.
Maurice will line up in semi-final one competing against riders from Poland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Russia, Finland, Austria, Denmark, Latvia, Ukraine, Great Britain and the Czech Republic. James will line up in semi-final two.
Both Maurice and James also competed at the U16 85cc Speedway Youth Gold Trophy in Vissenbjerg, Denmark.
Moz had a couple of wins earlier on but seemed unsettled and didn't perform to his usual standard though he still managed a creditable 8th position in the championships.
James placed 2nd which proved to be a highlight of his racing career. The Danes took six of the top eight placings.
