Judging for the 37th Cowra Wine Show and 3rd Australian Single Vineyard Wine Show kicked off on Monday, with almost 1000 wines being put to the test this week.

Both local and smaller vineyards across Australia will be pitted against some big names in the industry. In the past, regional wines have won their class, such as Windowrie Wines.
Louisa Rose of Yalumba Wine Company, will be leading a team of 17 judges from many different wine growing areas of Australia, as well as International wine judge, Jane Skilton MW, from New Zealand.
All gold and silver medalists for the Single Vineyard Wine Show automatically get entry into the National Wine Show in Canberra.
