The group performed at Mulyan Public, Cowra Public, Holman Place, Bilyara, Weeroona, Carinya and Cowra High.
All dancers displayed a strong connection with their culture showing pride and respect.
The highlight of the week was Cowra High School's NAIDOC celebration day where students came together to perform a traditional dance that they had learnt throughout the day as well as a traditional barbecue and cleansing ceremony.
Another part of NAIDOC celebrations was the unveiling of a mural designed by Creative and Performing Arts staff and Cowra High School art students focusing on this years theme: Voice, Treaty, Truth. Acknowledging that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have always wanted an enhanced role in decision-making in Australia's democracy.
Let's work together for a shared future.
