In a top of the table clash, the Magpies' Under 14s slipped two games behind league leaders Bloomfield away, losing 38-14. They'll look to be winners again when they play the sixth placed Blayney at home this weekend.
The Under 15s had a bit more difficulty, having to forfeit their match against the Bathurst Panthers at Carrington Park, but will look to bounce back after the school holidays as they've drawn a bye this week with a fortnight long league-wide break to follow.
The Under 16s fared better after going without a win since round one, earning themselves a draw against the Mudgee Dragons, with a game at Norton Oval against Cyms presenting a formidable challenge this week.
