The Cowra Red Cross at its May meeting was pleased to hear that the branch was successful in obtaining a grant through Cowra Council for a printer and sundries, to be shared with the branch and the local Red Cross Emergency Services team.

Another initiative for the branch is preparing emergency packs for hospitals and the homeless, with more details to follow.
Cowra branch will celebrate its 105th birthday this year- starting the same year as the Australian Red Cross itself.
We are planning a luncheon on August 14.
Owing to surgery for our President and Secretary, the June meeting was not able to be held.
It's good to know that Sue and Sue are progressing well.
The branch meets in the RSL rooms, Brisbane Street on Monday July 8 with the monthly meeting this time at 1pm so the annual general meeting can start at 2pm.
