Rod's Largen In Charge and Dana Queen finished fifth and seventh, while Wesley's Fusion Kiss came in sixth.
John Chapman's Nangar Hawke was the winner, taking out the race at Sid Kallas Oval by three lengths.
The race, which gave away $4000 to the first placed winner, was the headline event on Monday afternoon, with plenty coming down to check out the action at the public holiday event.
