Mrs Joyce Siegert who resides in Kalyan Court, Bilyara Retirement Village was honoured by the Bilyara Residents Committee with a plaque acknowledging with gratitude the longevity of service Mrs Siegert has given to the facility.

For a time of almost thirty years, Mrs Siegert was one of the early members for two years of the Bilyara Board with founding members Mr Arnold Spackman and Mr Wal Murphy.
Mrs Siegert then came to reside in Kalyan Court 25 years ago where she continued to work with cooking, sewing ,gardening, making jams and running the many fetes Bilyara had over the years.
Also a keen gardener, Joyce has volunteered many hours of maintaining the grounds, fruit trees and ornamentals in the large orchard area as well as donating shrubs and trees all to enhance the beautiful ambiance of the village.
Joyce has contributed considerably to the general well being of residents of Bilyara as she was President of the Residents Committee for twenty years and regularly visits the residents of Bilyara Hostel and sells tickets to raise funds.
