The guest speaker for this meeting was LiveBetter Community Care Coordinator Roxanne Allan.
Ms Allan spoke to the group about the federal governments My Aged Care scheme.
Ms Allen told the group about how the process of accessing the scheme worked and the aged care services provided by the scheme.
"We try our best to keep you independent, safe and well at home," she said.
"This is about keeping you independent and continuing to enjoy life."
Ms Alan said it was important for those who may need the scheme to get their foot in the door early.
"You may not need aged care services now but in three years you might, so if you are over the age of 65 I would register now."
