Rotarians Ian Docker and Bob Griffiths decided to spearhead a proposal to bring back the award for the first time since 2016, this time bringing the Cowra Business Chamber on board.

"The award hopefully will be accepted by the public," Mr Docker said.
"They will be able to nominate anybody, there is no special person or special group, it is for everybody."
Six finalists will be announced over the next 12 months at Cowra Rotary meetings.
They will receive the award, along with a $50 Cowra Cash Card.
The winner of the award will be announced at the group's Changeover Dinner in June next year and will walk away with 12 months honourary membership of Cowra Rotary, a joy flight from Fly Oz, a dinner and three months membership and mentorship from Cowra Business Chamber.
Cowra Business Chamber President, Jordan Core, said it was great to work with Rotary to relaunch the award.
"I took it to the committee, there were no ifs, buts, maybe, let's do it, it's a great cause," he said.
"The way that it plays out over the whole year, not just one big night, one big bang, it gets more people into Rotary to see all of the good work they do."
