Final rehearsals are underway, finishing touches are being put on costumes and voices exercised as competitors prepare for the 66th annual Cowra Eisteddfod which begins on Wednesday, May 15.

Session tickets are $6 each or you can purchase a season ticket for $45 and come to as many sessions as you like.
Good entries have been received in Vocal Sections, which herald the start of the eisteddfod at 2pm on Wednesday, with 28 entries in the prestigious Patricia Fagan Operatic Aria Championship - which is sponsored by the Calleen Trust.
Junior vocal sections have also been very pleasing with the first event
Speech entries have seen a increase especially in the Arts Council sponsored Speech & Drama Scholarship.
As always there will be a Grand Concert of selected prize winners, including the vocal section winners.
This will be held on Saturday, June 15, in the Cowra Civic Centre from 7pm.
Reserved seating for the Concert can be booked at the committee office during the three weeks of the eisteddfod.
