The Cowra Cancer Action Group held a beautiful afternoon tea last Thursday at the home of committee member Patsy McGlynn.
The event was held in honour of Carolyn Hodder who is retiring as the head chemotherapy nurse after 21 years.
Carolyn has been integral to the Cancer Action Group.
Over the past ten years Carolyn has been a mover and shaker behind the group and her expertise has meant that funds raised by the group can be utilised for the best possible outcomes.
Carolyn has always gone above and beyond, with patient care of the utmost importance.
As a highly respected member of the community, her passion has been inspiring to all those around her.
The Cancer Action Group could not be more grateful for Carolyn's efforts.
Upcoming fundraising for the group includes hosting an 'Australian's Biggest Morning Tea' at the Cowra Services Club in early June.
The group also looks forward to holding a Sunday afternoon concert featuring the Cowra Choir on June 30 at 2pm.
