Woodstock Anzac Day service
Woodstock's annual Anzac Day march will commence at 2.30pm.
Participants are asked to assemble out the front of Woodstock Public School from 2pm.
A short service will follow.
A dinner will be held at Woodstock Pub from 6pm. $10pp with Returned Service, Ex-Service and active defence personnel invited to eat for free.
To book, please call 6345 0262.
Gooloogong Anzac Day service
A 6am dawn service will be held at the flag pole at the memorial rooms. This is a short, respectful service of remembrance to the original Anzacs.
This will be followed by a Gun Fire Breakfast (to cover costs there will be a small charge of $5 per head for those attending other that Ex-service persons and their spouses).
At 9.45am, participants will assemble for the Anzac Day march.
Due to the lack of returned service personnel in our village, we invite the whole town to participate in the march to fill in the gaps of those who have gone before us.
If your organisation has a uniform, please wear it.
The march commences 10am and heads to the Cenotaph in the park.
For safety reasons, the march will travel on the gravel next to the road from the Memorial Rooms to the Park.
A commemorative service will then be held. Following the service everyone is invited to stay for morning tea in the park.
