Celebrating its 28th year in 2019 Flickerfest remains Australia's leading Academy Accredited and BAFTA recognised short film festival.
Flickerfest has partnered with the Supagas Canowindra International Balloon Challenge and Rosnay Organic Wines to present the 2019 Flickerfest short film festival.
Festival Director Joel Ulbricht said those who attend this year's event will be "spoilt with up to 11 short films".
Screening begins at 7pm at the Canowindra Showground. Doors open at 6pm.
"Fresh from Flickerfest Bondi is local film 'Cattle'," Mr Ulbricht said.
'Cattle' was shot all around the Canowindra region and includes some local faces.
Writer and director of 'Cattle', Kerinne Jenkins will be at the screening to introduce her film.
"The festival is an opportunity to sit back, purchase a glass of Rosnay Organic Wine and treat yourself to some amazing food from the Gourmet Food Truck," host Sam Statham said.
Screening is outdoors or in the showground pavilion if there is wet weather.
If you are attending you're encouraged to bring a camp chair or rug.
