At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) Of The Central Districts Racing Association held at Wellington on Saturday, Peter 'Buck' Ford from Cowra was elected unopposed to serve his first term as Chairman of the Association.

Ford is also President of the Cowra Jockey Club.
His election follows the retirement as Chairman by well known racing administrator Ian Giffin from Wellington.
Percy Thompson from Gulgong was elected unopposed as Vice Chairman while Colin Hodges from Forbes was elected unopposed to continue as Secretary/Treasurer.
David Simmons from Trundle has been appointed to represent the Picnic Clubs in the Central Districts.
During the meeting, Max Walker from Mudgee who represents the Central Districts on the NSW Country Racing Council provided an informative report on the overall progress of racing in NSW and in the immediate region.
