Officials for the Eagles were pleased with the quality of the game, as well as the sportsmanship shown afterwards.
The Eagles, who were preliminary finalists in 2018, will now turn their attention to a home match where they will be hosting the Harden Red Devils, who were victorious in the inaugural Annalee McGuigan Shield, played for the first time against Boorowa on the weekend.
With Cowra facing the looming kick-off of the Blowes Cup in less than a month, the trial matches offer the perfect opportunity for the Eagles' coaching team to get their ducks and drakes in order ahead of a long season.
This week's match will take place at the Cowra Rugby Fields on Saturday.
