The Cowra performance is at 3pm on Saturday, March 23 at the Cowra Civic Centre.
In keeping with the orchestra’s commitment to supporting young people’s access to the Arts, all students under 18 yrs have free entry to all Mac Phil concerts.
Contemporary Australian composer Ross Edwards' work 'Ecstatic Dances' is a must-hear for HSC and Year 11 music students.
The remainder of the Orchestra’s 2019 season will be huge, with concerts planned for July and October throughout the Central West, plus the third year of the annual Concerto Competition, where young Australian musicians audition for the opportunity to perform with the orchestra, along with the $2000 Camplin Prize and the $1000 Thompson Prize.
