That's according to the latest data from the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR).
Data showed there was a slight increase in the number of motor vehicle thefts, break and enter a non dwelling and robbery without a weapon incidents in the 12 months to December 2018 compared with the same period in 2017.
For instance, there were 21 motor vehicle theft cases in 2018 compared with 12 in 2017.

Similarly, the incidents related to break and enter a non dwelling went up slightly from 33 in 2017 to 40 in 2018.

There was a dip in the number of incidents related to both domestic and non-domestic violence related assault, sexual assault, break and enter a dwelling and steal from motor vehicle in the Cowra local government area.
For instance, the number of sexual assault incidents came down from 23 in 2017 to nine in 2018.
The number of domestic violence related assault cases declined from 66 in 2017 to 53 in 2018, and the number of non-domestic violence related assault incidents fell from 88 to 80 for the same period.
The biggest decline was in the number of break and enter a dwelling incidents, which came down from 123 in 2017 to 79 incidents in 2018.
Fraud cases also declined from 70 in 2017 to 47 in 2018.

Overall, the number of crime incidents remained stable in the Central West except for the rise in the number of fraud cases, which went up from 999 in 2017 to 1133 in 2018.
Stealing from motor vehicle and non-domestic violence related assaults also registered a small increase on 2017.
Break and enter a dwelling, and break and enter a non-dwelling incidents have come down in the region.
