Despite fewer people through the gates, 2019 proved to be a history-making year for the Koorawatha Show, as well as a great day out.

Koorawatha Show Secretary, Mary Gee, said she had received great feedback from those who went along to the Show on Sunday.
"It wasn't too bad actually, I think overall our numbers were probably down a little," she said.
"Everybody seemed to have a great day though, everyone I spoke to was like, 'yeah, we've had a great time', it's been really good."
She said the quality of competition and entries into the Pavilion was a highlight of the day, despite a drop in numbers.
"I know the horses are definitely down on last year," she said.
"The pavilion wasn't too bad but some sections were a little bit light on, the flowers we had were brilliant, it was spectacular actually in there, that went down fairly well."
Mary said those involved with the horse events expressed how much they enjoyed the day.
"I'm not quite sure what it is with the horse people and with our Show but they all seem to love it, they all turn around and say it's really great," she said.
"They just keep coming back and have a great time."
This year's Show also marked the first time that Koorawatha has hosted the Group Ten Judging Competition Finals.
Mary said the competition was very successful and now puts Koorawatha in good standing to host the event in the future.
"That was the first time that we've held the event," she said.
"Everybody that was involved with that were extremely pleased with how things went."
She said one junior judge also qualified for the Sydney Royal Easter Show in April.
"One young bloke… his mum rang here through the week and wanted to know if he could come and take part in this stuff, and he's now going onto the Royal Easter Show," she said.
"He qualified in the cattle section… so we are a little bit pleased with that. I said we are going to claim you."
