Online auction starts tonight to help out Canowindra's "little superhero" Ellie
An online auction starts tonight to help three-year-old Ellie from Canowindra who is fighting a battle against T Cell Leukemia.
Items on auction range for clothing for kids to great experiences for adults.
Included among the items are signed photographs from A League soccer team Sydney FC including photos of Canowindra's Rhyan Grant and Australia captain Milos Ninkovic.
There is also a dinner package for 20 people valued at $600 courtesy of Canowindra's Jo Robson.
Five long months ago, her short little life was tipped on its head.
Overnight, she went from poking and prodding sticks in her backyard to having nurses poke and prod her. Her little life, completely upside down.
Bright, bubbly, cheeky and smart Ellie is a warrior princess, an angel of hope, her family's very own little superhero.
In the last 5 months, Ellie’s parents have moved from their hometown of Canowindra NSW Australia to live at Ronald McDonald House full time.
They have left jobs, sold their business and are selling their house.
Right now, nothing else in the world matters, all that matters is that they are with Ellie through her treatment.
So, while their life is on hold, Canowindra is rallying. Residents are cooking meals, sending basics, sharing babysitting duties, donating to charities, saying prayers and anything else that they can do to support this special crew.
An online Auction is being run by a few of their nearest and dearest, and has been funded and donated to by their enormous village to raise as much money as possible to make life a little easier for them.
Bidding starts tonight, Thursday, February 28 at 7pm running through until 6pm March 2.
