The group will commence 2019 with a meeting on March 5, at 2pm at Steel Walsh and Murphy Boardroom in the Calare Building. Afternoon tea will follow.
The guest speaker will be Dianne Gill who will speak on the mental side of living with arthritis.
Currently four million Australians live with arthritis, which is expected to rise to 5.4 million by 2030.
Arthritis is also the second most common cause of early retirement due to ill-health in Australia. It cost the health system $5.5 billion in 2015 which is expected to rise to $7.6 billion in 2030.
If you are suffering from arthritis either rheumatoid or osteo then you are welcome to join them.
