New members welcomed to Grenfell Hospital auxiliary meeting

Grenfell Hospital Auxiliary President Glenice Clarke welcomed eleven members to the first meeting of the year, and accepted four members apologies.

Looking back over the break it was noted that the MPS birthday party had been a happy occasion for all who attended.

Also the stall held in the park on the night of the combined clubs Christmas carnival, we thank the public for their support and the members for stocking the table and the three raffle prizes.

The zone day this year is being held in Orange in March and some members plan to attend.

The first street stall for the year is dated for March 1, so members are asked to support this with saleable goods.

A competition will be held with the prize being an open order of $100.

It was decided to pay for two new wheel chairs and a shower chair after learning that some of the older ones needed replacing.

The next meeting will be held on April 17.

As our Motto says "Let us hold high the Lamp of Service for the Welfare of our Hospital" and as a group we hope to be able to continue doing just that.
