However, the task starts with the tougher assignment of the two matches that the Chris Day-skippered team has to take on, with a trip to Parkes to take on the second-place Cambridge Cats at Woodward Oval.
To add to the difficulty, no visiting side has won in Parkes this year, meaning the team of young players will have to buck a significant trend in order to keep their finals hopes alive.
Furthermore, Nick Berry, who has battled work commitments throughout the season, will again be unavailable, a big loss given Berry was a top scorer in last week's loss, and who can provide an important bowling option at the innings' death.

However, on the plus side, the team regains Ben Colby, who, while not guaranteed of replicating Berry's form with the bat last week, is a handy all-rounder who will help to relieve Ben Schofield and Scott Gray of spin bowling duties while being flexible enough to bat most positions in the top of the order.
Meanwhile, the pace brigade of Aiden Roberts, Chris Howarth, Joseph Waters and Mick Curtale has been in solid nick, but will be looking to regain some of the consistency that was on show in their clinical breakdown of Canowindra's line-up prior to Christmas day.
Cambridge will also have weapons of their own though, with Anthony Heraghty, Josh Duffy and Mitch Wright all making runs in last week's win against Canowindra, while Hudson Hawke and Jonah Ruzgas are threats with the ball.
Saturday's match is scheduled to start at 1.30 pm.
