The dust stretches across the township and towards Grenfell.
The hot, dry and windy conditions have led to a total fire ban being declared across NSW.
There is a severe fire risk in the Central Ranges which includes the following council areas: Blayney, Bathurst, Cabonne, Cowra, Lithgow, Mid Western, Oberon and Orange.
While there is a very high fire risk in the Lower Central West Plains, which includes: Bland, Forbes, Lachlan, Narromine, Parkes, Temora, Weddin and Dubbo.
The total fire ban commenced at 12.01am on Tuesday and finishes at 11.59pm the same day.
