All applications are treated anonymously and all members vote on who receives the grant money. On Thursday, the President will give a cheque for the grant to the winning applicant.
We are pleased to welcome any lady (over the age of 18) to perhaps join us for a cuppa and a chat from 10am onwards.
The actual meeting commences at 11am, held in the council's Multipurpose Room (between Cowra Library and the Cowra Regional Art Gallery).
Members of the organisation have had great influence over some important issues in NSW since 1922.
The CWA has been successful in lobbying for the white lines on either side of major roads, lower alcohol beer and proper health care for babies.

Women in NSW and ACT can join a local branch and have a voice in the nation's affairs, socialise with others and assist the community.
The CWA is the largest women's organisation in Australia and aims to improve conditions for country women and children.
We reach that aim in various ways including lobbying for change, helping the local community, creating a network of support and meeting together in towns and cities.
CWA of NSW is a member of CWA of Australia and the international organisation Associated Country Women of the World.
