Pollard was fined $100 and disqualified from driving for three months when her matter was called in the Local Court this month. Her licence had been suspended in November for accrual of demerit points.
Police made her aware of the suspension on November 29 but saw her driving on December 1 last year.
Police standing at the intersection of Brisbane Avenue and Whitby Street, in full uniform saw Pollard drive past at a speed estimated in excess of 50km/hr.
Pollard was the only occupant.
Police attempted to stop her but she continued on.
About 5pm that afternoon police attended her residence and put it to her that she was seen driving.
In a statement of facts presented to the court Pollard, police say used a number of offensive terms and told them to “prove it”.
When police put it to her again that she was seen driving she replied that she had to go to the supermarket and that a local highway patrol officer “has got no idea”.
