After breaking its membership record last year and taking out a record number of awards the Chamber has set a new high with a 76 per cent increase in nominations for its annual business awards.
“This year we had an incredible 76% increase in nominations,” Chamber president Jordan Core said this week.
The Chamber has removed one category for the awards this year but added two new categories.
“The Cowra Business awards is about inclusiveness, I’m sure you will all agree, this year will be the biggest awards in history, well done Cowra,” Mr Core said.
Mr Core put the record entries for this year’s awards down to increased advertising and popularity of the Chamber.
“Our members are much more engaged and a true sense of community has formed of late, with more people becoming actively involved in committees and organisations and making Cowra number one,” Mr Core said.
This year’s awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 16 from 6.30pm at the Cowra Showground Pavilion.
Single tickets are $99 each or 10 tickets for $899 which includes all food and drinks.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.cowrabusinesschamber.com.au and click the “Events” link at the top of the page.
