It is a great chance for children and youth to hang out with friends, make new friends and learn about God. This year the theme is ‘The Greatest Love’ – God’s love for his creation and us.
The week kicks off with a combined church service, 9.30am January 13, at the Showground as we welcome the team from Sydney.
Monday, January 14, 9.30am to 12 noon at the Showground is Concert time, this year Super Saviour is coming to town.
Leaping tall buildings, fighting crime and keeping the people he loves safe and he’s looking for a super sidekick to follow him and help do his super work. But is all as it seems? Who’s causing trouble for our super duo? Can our new sidekick resist the dark side and use his powers for good?
If you have children not yet at school, please join us for a chat and play at Coffee Corner and stay for Music Time at 10am, aimed at babies and pre-schoolers, you don’t need to have kids to join us at Coffee Corner.
If your child is starting Kindergarten, Year 1 or 2 in 2019 they will be in Jumping Beans. We’re going to make awesome crafts, play fun games and watch some cool skits where we’ll learn about The God who loves us.
For kids going into Years 3, 4 and 5 in 2019 they will be in Club 35. Join in for five days of jam packed fun, filled with games, story-telling and creative crafts. On Friday we are bringing back something special.
For youth going into Years 6, 7 or 8 in 2019 they will be in Klunk and for those in Year 9, 10, 11 or 12 the will be in Zed. Get excited to learn about God’s love for his creation, people and for us. A jam packed week has been planned for you and your friends.
For Ladies of all ages the Ladies Craft Night is not to be missed at the Cowra Baptist Church January 15, 7pm-9pm.
For all those Trivia buffs, a Trivia Night will be held at the Cowra Baptist Church January 18, 7pm-9pm.
A concert on January 19, at the Showground lets the kids show parents, friends and family what they have been doing and learning through the week. This year a Bush Dance is being included.Join in at the Showground from 5pm.
Sunday morning, January 20 at 9.30am, the week will end with a combined church service at the Showground.
