The first incident occurred between Cowra and Young, and claimed the life of a man in his 30s.
Just before 7am, emergency services were called to Scenic Road, Wirrimah, about 30 kilometres north of Young, and found an unregistered Toyota Corolla had left the road, hit a road sign and come to rest against a tree.
The male driver and only occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
Detectives from the Hume Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
At about 1pm on the same day, a child died and two women were seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash near Wellington.
Emergency services were called to Goolma Road after a small hatchback left the road and rolled.
A three-year-old girl sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
A front-seat passenger, a woman aged 28, was also injured and was airlifted to Westmead Hospital, while the driver, a woman aged 32, was been taken by road ambulance to hospital.
Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
That crash happened about 2.45pm when a 4WD towing a trailer and a white sedan collided.
The man driving the sedan died at the scene. His wife was trapped for almost two hours before being released and airlifted in a stable condition.
Two adults and two children were travelling in the 4WD and were taken to Grafton Hospital. The man and one child sustained minor injuries.
Last week two people were transferred to Canberra by helicopter after suffering injuries in an accident on the Mid Western Highway north of Cowra.
A number of passing motorists where quickly on the scene to render assistance and control traffic before the arrival of emergency services.
NSW Police Traffic and Highway Patrol Command said the vehicle left the road and crashed into a pole before rolling a number of times.
