Club president Trish Dun said the club was continually changing and growing.
“Without the kids, you’ve got no club and without people who want to come and work for the kids your club doesn't thrive,” she said.
“Our club is really bouncing back from a couple of years where we had strong swimmers but a small base, this year we have a massive base, which is good for us over the next five to six years looking forward.
“It just a matter of keeping those kids here and having fun and enjoying themselves,” she said.
Mrs Dun said while the club had produced a number of state and national representatives that was only part of the club’s role.
“The club is about developing swimmers, but it’s also about developing individuals and their own personal confidence,” she said.
“To get national swimmers out of this pool when we only swim six months out of the year is extraordinary.
“But to get kids to have belief in themselves and we can create positive and healthy individuals we’ve done our jobs,” she said.
This year's Stingrays have received a 70th anniversary shirt thanks to the Cowra Services Club, Mr Embroidery, Cowra Bus Service, Cowra Meat Processors, Sportspower, Spot on Irrigation, Lachlan Engineering Services.
The club will hold a special cake cutting ceremony at their awards night in March.
