After a 2018 preliminary final appearance that ended in defeat, the Cowra Eagles have regrouped and confirmed coaches for next year across their first and second grade teams.

The first grade side will be coached by Col Jeffs, Col Kilby and Rohan McKay, with the majority of the squad who lost to Bathurst in the prelim retained for the 2019 season.
Justin Bryant and James Montgomery will be leading the second grade side, with the emphasis on building a strong core of young players for the coming season.
Troy Hayes will be assisting across both teams as the club’s trainer.
Training has commenced on Wednesday afternoon at Edgell Park, with new players encouraged to attend next week’s final pre-Christmas session.
Starting at 6 pm, it includes BBQ and cool drink.
The Eagles have had a busy month, with the consolidation of their Under 13s and 15s junior teams with the Canowindra Pythons helping to ensure a long-term pathway into senior regional rugby for young players.
