This year a total of 40 Cowra High School male and female staff took part in raising awareness of men’s health.
Cowra High School’s Movember coordinator, Anthony Hamer, said there had been a number of events held throughout the month.
“The Prefects supported the cause by addressing whole school assemblies each week with important statistics, information and advice about men's health issues,” he said.
“Personal fundraising efforts by those involved, student donations at assembly, a staff trip to the movies to see Bohemian Rhapsody.”
“The Senior Hospitality class and teacher ran a cafe with coffee and Mo-shaped biscuits each week, and a special staff morning tea including the running of the 'Movember Mile' horse race,” Mr Hamer said, contributed to the fundraising.
Funds raised were donated directly to the Movember Foundation.
