Cowra Jockey Club President, Peter ‘Buck’ Ford, together with Keith Martin of Bi-Rite Electrical, has donated a TV valued at over $1000 for a raffle to raise funds for the Riding for the Disabled (RDA), with tickets to be sold at the front of Mr Martin’s store.
“Not only are you having a great day out at the races but you are supporting your local businesses and charities," Mr Ford said of the meeting.
The winner will be drawn at the Cowra Cup meet on January 20.
Riding for the Disabled is a horse riding organisation that has been supporting kids and families in Cowra for over 20 years and currently has 45 registered riders.
All money raised from the raffle will be used to help the RDA continue to serve the Cowra community.
