Karen Rea from Australian hearing was our guest speaker at our November meeting.
Members were most interested with what information Karen had to tell us. Many questions were asked on the day and to know that it is all local in Cowra, even better.
Harden/Murrumburrah was the destination of our last bus trip to visit Memorial of the Light Horse Museum, the birthplace of “Bill the Bastard” the first Australian (volunteer) light horse.
Next was Honey Haven, along with Clifton Gardens in Young, a wonderful day organized by Ruth.
Lady members joined with Men’s Probus for a mystery trip to Moxey’s Dairy, quite and experience, as well as a movie at the end of the day at Manildra there is just so much to do with Probus.
The highlight of out year was our 30th birthday anniversary, quite a milestone.
So many very interesting guest speakers we have had the pleasure of listening to during the year, thanks to Jill.
Plans are now being organised for 2019.
As our AGM will be in March, it is time for members to be thinking of nominations for positions as well as committee members for our February 8, 2019 meeting, 10am for 10.30am at the services club.
To all our members, my committee and myself wish all our members a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year. Any enquiries to president Sandra on 6341 1035.
