Adam Williams, Bruce Ringwood, Karina Russel and Denis Hibberd are part of 10 Canobolas Zone volunteers making up the latest 33-member strike team, known as Region West 19-04.
A further team was being prepared to depart Dubbo on Thursday but a reprieve in the conditions have seen them stood down.
According to a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman there are more than 100 fires burning across the state.
The blazes have claimed one life, with a 21-year-old man killed last Friday when a tree fell and pinned him at Rolleston, about 300 kilometres south-west of Rockhampton.
