The meeting did make plans for the street stall and Christmas raffle to be held in Kendal Street on Friday, December 7.
Members are reminded that the December branch meeting has been brought forward to Monday, December 3 and will be held at he Bowling Club restaurant at 12 noon with members able to purchase their own lunch afterwards. Elsie Bryant would be glad to have an indication of those planning to attend.
Information from the Australian Red Cross indicates that gifts received enabled 12,624 people to be given help to cope with an emergency while 208,000 Australians took steps to prepare for emergencies with assistance from Red Cross workers, and 46,000 people learned life-saving first aid skills. So, thank you to all our community supporters – your gifts do make a difference.
As the branch does not meet during the hot months, the next meeting in the RSL Rooms, Brisbane Street, will be on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 2pm. Visitors and new members are always very welcome to our meetings. Any queries about Cowra Red Cross to President Sue on 6342 1513, Secretary Sue on 0428 813 900 or to PO Box 262, Cowra, 2794.
