Parsons will race two runners that have come from his stable; Agrovation (Race one) and Ridgi Ridge (Race four).
Ridgi Ridge is racing after recent starts in Canberra and Orange, while Agrovation has been less active, with its last race at Dubbo taking place in late August.
The meet is billed as a “Tradie’s Day,” an opportunity for the town’s working people to go out and enjoy themselves.
Cowra Jockey Club President Peter Ford said that while the day was a small-scale event, there are still plenty of opportunities to engage with race day traditions.
Local bookmakers will be on hand to run odds throughout the day, while tents will be will set up for Cowra tradespeople to watch the race.
“It should be a good day’s racing and a chance for the tradespeople of our town to enjoy the company of their staff and clients,” Mr Ford said.
