Nine members enjoyed a beautiful Sunday, walking around most of Cowra's Open Gardens.
We enjoyed a morning tea break at Pam and Garry McKay’s garden and then a picnic lunch by the river before heading off to more gardens.
Sunday, October 28 was a delightful walk around Old Graham at Hovell's Creek.
Twelve walkers loved the house Gardens and had a great time wandering around viewing all the sculptures set in the hills behind the house.
We found Ken Hutchison’s sculpture amongst the pine grove - a beautiful piece of art.
Upcoming walks
10/11/2018 - Terry Koen (0415 253 129) will lead an afternoon walk with dinner to follow.
Meet at the Billygoat Hill picnic area at 5.30pm on Saturday and walk to Evans St along Sakura Ave, returning by a slightly different route.
Dinner on return to the picnic area and is BYO everything.
18/11/2018 - Jan Ware (0432 838 005) will lead a walk on the Woodstock property of Gothic, with the assistance of owner, Annette Bailey.
Departure from the Visitors Centre at 9am and from the Woodstock Hotel at 9.30am.
Bring morning tea and lunch.

1/12/2018 - ULB club Christmas gathering at the Imperial Hotel, 7 pm. RSVP Lesley 0439 467 489.
Walkers are reminded to contact the leaders prior to the walk and to bring any medications and basic first aid kit with them.
As the weather is warming up, bring plenty of water.
