With this in mind the club will hold its annual general meeting on Monday, October 29 at 7pm at the Services Club.
With a lack of numbers in the senior men’s grade this year, the club was forced to withdraw but are looking to rebuild for the 2019 season.
Despite this, the club has performed quite well in other areas.
Both the Under 12s and under 14s won their respective competitions, a mighty effort, the newly formed Youth Girls team contested well, and the club hopes to further develop the Womens team.
Obviously the club will be looking to build in all areas into the 2019 season.
Maintaining a football club doesn’t come without effort, with people needed to ensure the future of the club.
Please don’t leave it to the same handful.
The club needs some commitment.
Get on board for the upcoming season....please make every effort to attend.
2018 Coaches
The club will be looking to fill its coaching positions especially early to assist with planning and development.
The club is looking to field teams in First Grade, Womens, Under 17s, Under 14s, Under 12s and Youth Girls, as well as run an Auskick program.
Coaching a footy team obviously has its challenges, but is also a rewarding experience.
Level 1 accreditation courses will be available prior to the season.
Please consider applying for one of the positions, with applications to be invited shortly.
Players
Obviously a long way out from the football season, but certainly not early for players to announce their intentions for 2019.
Intending players are encouraged to get a message to the club to assist with planning.
There has already been some interest shown, and the club is very hopeful of a strong rebuild.
